In an industry first, we are proud to announce that Kura has a new status as a Community Interest Company (CIC)
This means we are officially dedicated to creating new training and employment opportunities for the airline pilots of the future.
As a CIC, Kura is required to reinvest profits back into the trainee pilot community; generating sponsorship and funding opportunities which will directly benefit those who find the cost of entry to the profession prohibitive.
Isobel Hall, Kura’s MD, explains, ‘Our conversion to a Community Interest Company creates a new funding dimension for aspiring pilots across the industry. We are extremely proud to take this ground-breaking step; not only to support the individuals who dream of becoming an airline pilot, but also for a fabulous industry struggling to attract new talent due to the high cost involved’.
We remain a fully independent training organisation and will continue to prepare both modular and integrated trained pilots for their first airline role with a combination of technical and non-technical training through our BESTPILOT training programme.
More information about funding assistance will be announced soon.
